My life with a cameraphone - Part 2
Thursday, June 12th, 2008
The year is now 2007(ish[ism]) and I’ve left Berkeley, I’m now back in Lynwood and apparently still quite obsessed with bizarre signage. At the same time, I’m working my BA in Film and managed to wrangle myself a highly prestigious position as a local substitute teacher. My new obsession? Elementary kids bad grammar and just bad writing. I go over, read their work, give them a bit of support and then ’snap snap’ on my cameraphone. I also seem to be more conscious of having the camera on me all the time and snap a couple of once in a lifetime ‘Impressionistic’ photos. Oh, I also got far too drunk and threatened to take some theater usher to court while snapping pictures of him in my stupor. (more…)

That’s right, I’m fighting through a horrible vicious cold. I can barely muster the energy to plop this post onto the interweb. Yet, there’s something peculiar about being sick this time around. No it’s not the new colors my body can generate, or the fact that I keep seeing people come in that aren’t here. For some bizarre reason, I’m having the time of my life.
Absolutely no direction to this one. Just a couple friends hanging out and two microphones in the room. Random songs were added to the list and random things were said in between. There is no theme, cohesion or reason for a podcast like this to exist. Enjoy..
Alright, time to crank it up a notch. Not too much, just a notch. This second (and final) wedding playlist constitutes the higher BPM spectrum of the wedding. It has a couple standards like Brickhouse and Rock Lobster, but also has Pedro Infante singing about Jalisco and Hepcat asking you to dance with them. Enjoy, as always feedback appreciated.
In the Summer of 2004, on a trip to Rome, I began thinking of a project. The premise was that a catholic priest was falling from grace, but still trying to keep from leaning towards ‘evil’. The story never got through the initial stage, but I did manage to get it somewhat started. Below is the half-hearted, half-started project known as “Infinity”
I hate paying premium on things that I know I can find at a lower cost. This runs through every product from bleach to Cd’s. After talking with Mocherz about it for a while, I realized that I have a whole process to assessing a products worth or where I can find it for less.
