As for making me wanna shake my booty..not so much. The lyrics of the songs are good because they are about love and all that mushy stuff, but some of the melodies themselves are kinda depressing, except of course for the beatles song. Also, I may be the only girl on earth to say this but that is the worst depeche mode song in history! I hate that song with a passion! But anywhoo some songs are good for those "special dances" but ultimately they would be good songs to back-up a slide show. since you asked my opinion, I think that its ok background music.
