Sounding a conical wind instrument by self activaction

Saturday, May 10th, 2008

This past April, much to my joy and excitement, Direction was screened at the PFA in Berkeley. After the showing and Q&A, I was approached by Michael Guillen to answer a couple questions and talk a bit about the process of making the film. Apparently this qualifies as an Interview. Definitely a first. You can read my arrogance at his film blog, The Evening Class.

“Escape from Aztlan” finished

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

First there was National Novel Writing Month, and now I finished my first feature length for April’s ‘Script Frenzy‘ marathon. I think this is actually a story I can really get behind and make. I’ll be going through a couple rewrites and maybe rework some things. I’d like to first create a comic-book/storyboard version, that way I can better visualize the story. Things are getting exciting, let’s see where it goes. Woo!!

As such, I jump back into the fray for April’s Script Frenzy screen writing event. (more…)
